Tekax Installation Trip, Feb 13-20 2010

We flew from SFO to Merida on Sat, Feb 13, and spent the night at the Hotel Gobernador in Merida.  On Sunday morning, we traveled by bus to Tekax, got organized, joined our friends in worship, and planned our week.

On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, we helped our friends with the installation of the reverse osmosis (RO) water treatment system and began 3 days of health and hygiene classes for children, youth, women, and men.  On Thursday we completed the water system, filled 4 5-gal bottles with purified water, and held a dedication celebration.

On Friday afternoon, we returned to Merida, leaving our friends, until we return next year.
