Are you ready to get involved? There are many ways that you can.
We know that you will find
a place to utilize your gifts and talents…
a place to serve…
a place to connect with others on the journey….
a place where your passions will be ignited…
Every year, members are encouraged to commit their Time, Talent, and Treasure in support of Valley Presbyterian Church.
TIME - Volunteer to do Little Acts of Kindness
Our Mission, Deacons, and Youth Committees provide many opportunities that may be one-time events or quarterly or monthly service. For example, serve at Maple Street Shelter or Padua Dining Room, or help build houses with Habitat for Humanity, Greater San Francisco. We also give you the opportunity to serve our church family by being a Sunday morning Usher, by helping in the nursery, providing a meal when a family is in need, being a substitute Sunday School teacher/helper, providing transportation, counting the Sunday offering, or being a worship liturgist.
TALENT - Commit to ONE BIG THING for the year. These are things that involve an extended time commitment of a year or more. Join a music group: Chancel Choir, Handbell Choir, Joyful Noise Choir, Spirit, or Jubilation! Serve as an Elder or Deacon or on a standing committee: Finance, Worship & Arts, Personnel, Mission, Buildings and Grounds, Computer/ Technology, Endowment, Nominating.
TREASURE – Support the church with your financial gifts. The church is not supported financially by the denomination. All of our funding comes from our members and friends who pledge and/or give generously of their abundance.
