Mark officiates at weddings that take place the first weekend of each month, other than during summer sabbatical, sharing that responsibility with Cheryl.
Mark has been the Head Pastor of Valley for over 20 years. He offers a collegial, non-anxious, accepting style of leadership and ministry. In addition to preaching and weddings, Mark's other responsibilities include spiritual formation, building relationships, and administration.
Rev. Cheryl Goodman-Morris
Cheryl officiates at weddings that take place the first weekend of each month, other than during summer sabbatical, sharing that responsibility with Mark.
Cheryl is also the Minister of Arts and Worship and the Artistic Director of the Portola Valley Theater Conservatory. She has a gift of drawing out the artist in people and a passion for worship and the lively arts. In addition to preaching and weddings, Cheryl's other responsibilities include congregational care, youth ministry, and development of major theater productions.
Rev. Dr. Ed Momrow
Ed officiates at weddings that take place the second weekend of each month.
Rev. Dr. Bruce Coleman
Bruce officiates at weddings that take place the third weekend of each month.
Bruce received his M.Div from San Francisco Theological Seminary, an M.A. in counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University, and a Ph.D. in New Testament studies from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. He was most recently pastor of Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church for 22 years before he retired.
Rev. Paula Kelso
Paula officiates at weddings that take place the fourth weekend of each month.
Paula received her M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary. She has served pastorates in San Jose and San Francisco Presbyteries and is currently the Interim Pastor at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Palo Alto.
Rev. Dr. John Koeker
John officiates at the weddings that take place the fifth weekend of the month. He is a Parish Associate Pastor at Valley Church and is a presenter at our Wedding Preparation Workshops.
A graduate of Fresno State University and Fuller Theological Seminary, John earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from the San Francisco Theological Seminary (Presbyterian). He and his wife, Susan, live in Woodside where they reared their now grown children.
