Spiritual Direction is an opportunity to spend an uninterrupted hour reflecting on your individual experience of God with a person of faith. It is a peace filled, precious time that usually occurs once a month..

The art of Spiritual Direction, or holy listening, lies in uncovering the obvious in our lives and in realizing that everyday events are the means by which God tries to reach us; to draw us closer. Often we are so caught up in the day-to-day issues of survival that we fail to listen.

Valley Presbyterian's Spiritual Directors have received extensive formation training and each one brings their unique mix of perspectives, skills, experience and training. One is an ordained minister; others are lay people. It is important to find the right match in a Spiritual Director.
