It’s time for our all-church Fall Kick-Off BBQ lunch… Stick around on Sunday, September 7 after the 10:45 am worship service for some good food, good fellowship, and good times. The menu includes BBQ chicken, hot dogs, macaroni & cheese, baked beans, green salad, fruit, dessert and drinks. Suggested donation is $5 per adult and $3 per child with a max of $20 per family. CHRISTIAN Summer Sunday School continues as the Old Testament Goes to the Movies for incoming K-6thgraders. Middle and senior high students, and parents, are invited to join us.
2008-09 Sunday School Teachers - Curriculum materials are ready for pick up!
Parents, preparations for the 2008-09 Sunday school year are well under way, but your help is needed. If you have not already done so, get your completed registration form(s) in by Sept. 1st. Our program covers children ranging in age from 3 months through high school. Registration allows us to plan for childcare, teachers, supplies and classroom assignments. Blank forms may be picked up at the Village Kiosk.

Fall Adult Education Series: Politics That Matter: Public Policies Affecting Everyone September 14 – November 2, 2008 9:30 -10:30 am Fireside Room With the upcoming election on November 4, VPC’s Adult Education Committee intends to educate our congregation and to engage Adult Ed attendees in a series of lively, informative, and relevant discussions about health care and health insurance, education, and the future of Social Security. We conclude this series by hosting representatives from both the McCain and Obama campaigns, giving all of us a chance to ask questions about the presidential candidates' positions on a variety of issues.
