Summer Sunday school continues today with Annegret Boge, as the Old Testament Goes to the Movies for incoming K-6th graders. Middle and high students are encouraged to join us!
We need a Sunday School teacher for the 2nd half of summer. If you’re able to teach July 27-Sept. 7, your help would be welcomed. Please talk with Cathy P. ASAP.
Our nursery and toddler rooms are currently in need of leads starting immediately and continuing through the 2008-9 school year. Without volunteers either or both may be closed. Please talk with Cathy P. today.

In Need of a Car for Several Weeks this Summer

Effective today, July 6th, Sally Paz will provide childcare in the Nursery/toddler rooms each Sunday beginning at 9am to allow parents with young children to participate in Adult Ed and choir. Sally will remain in the nursery to 12pm providing care for the youngest members of our community. Volunteers will still be needed so be sure to sign up. |

Christopher Lonergan will be home this summer before he begins his journey back to college after serving for 5 years in the US Army and serving 2 tours of duty - one in Iraq and one in Afghanistan.
He is in need of a car from about July 15th through July 30th and August 11th through about August 25th. If you have an extra car just sitting in your driveway or will be gone and can loan your car while you are gone, please contact his mom, Barbara at 408-691-3464. He is fully insured and will take great care of your car. |

Summer Handbell Classes led by Karen Russell
Mark the dates now - Thursdays, July 24, 31, and August 7 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Fireside Room. Each class will cover a different topic and/or technique. Details to follow. Come to one, or enjoy all three. |

Needlework, crafts summer classes |
|

|
Whether you are a beginner or expert crafter, why not join us this summer to knit, crochet, do crafts, beading or needlework together as we eat, pray, reflect, and share. The group will meet at 6:30 pm in the Fireside Room on Mondays, July 14 and August 11 to share a simple meal and then will have an hour from 7:00 to 8:00 pm to do crafting. Bring your own project, and an item or two to add to the salad bar. The church will provide the greens, some bread, and drinks for the meal. It is helpful if you let Karen Russell (ext. 104) know that you are coming so that we can plan.
