August Knit Us Together

Join us on Monday evening, August 11 to knit, crochet, do crafts, beading or needlework together as we eat, pray, reflect, and share. We’ll meet at 6:30 pm in the Fireside Room to share a simple meal and then will have an hour from 7:00 to 8:00 pm to do crafting. Bring your own project, and an item or two to add to the salad bar. The church will provide the greens, some bread, and drinks for the meal. Let Karen Russell (x104) know that you are coming so we can plan.

2008 Late Summer Adult Ed Program

The dynamic role of the Byzantine Empire in codifying and preserving Christian doctrine is our topic. Our guest lecturer (via DVD) is to be Kenneth Hart, PhD, Professor of Classical and Byzantine History at Tulane University.

Call for Counters

We are looking for a few more people to help with counting the Sunday morning offering. The process takes about 45 minutes and is always done with another church member following the worship service. The counters are scheduled for a specific Sunday, for example, the 3rd Sunday of each month.
