Fair Trade coffee sale- volunteers needed |
Would you like to be a Fair Trader? The Fair Trade Team needs a few more volunteers to help sell coffee, tea, chocolate and cocoa products just once or twice during a six month period. Sunday sales provide a fun and easy opportunity for families and friends to work together selling fair trade products that benefit small farmers all over the world. Learning how to do it is very simple - training will be provided. If you feel called to be part of this meaningful (and delicious!) ministry, please contact Robin Polastri for further information (650.712.9194 or

Calling all Congregational Chauffeurs & Companions |
Dear Friends,
We had such a wonderful response to the invitation for people to become a “Congregational Chefs”, those interested in cooking an occasional meal when needed to support a family in the life of our church. The deacons are now lovingly looking for people who would like to provide support in two more important areas in the life of the church, and hope you will consider being part of one or both of these special groups:
1) Congregational Chauffeurs – those who are able to provide transportation for members on Sunday mornings or to help with other errands and/or transportation needs during the week. These are primarily our older members who have served the church long and well, and now are no longer able to drive. 2) Congregational Company – those who feel called to visit our members and friends who might be ill, in the hospital, homebound, or lonely. These are very dear people, who will be most appreciative of your visit!
We have such a wonderful and supportive church, filled with people who have so many gifts and talents. And we learn again and again that there is deep joy to be found in reaching out, in connecting with and serving another personally.
Just let us know if you have a desire to help in this way, and we'll take care of the rest. Please email Karen Russell,
