Restorative Yoga Class

Quiet your mind · Relax your body · Nourish your spirit

The class will be led by Jennifer Jones Schroeder, who is a Yin & Restorative instructor. She believes that “Yoga is about connecting your breath to your body and consciously quieting the chaotic activity of the mind stuff.”

Please bring a mat, large pillow or yoga bolster, and blanket or beach towel.

Registration is not necessary but appreciated.

Class is complimentary, donations are welcome, suggested donation: $15-$30 per person.


What is Restorative Yoga:

Restorative yoga is a completely different experience than most other styles of yoga. Restorative yoga is a restful practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. Restorative yoga is suitable for practitioners of all levels. By definition, restorative yoga is a restful practice that holds yoga poses for a longer duration using props like yoga blocks, blankets, and bolsters. Through the use of props for support, many of the postures are held almost effortlessly.
