Music and Choirs at Valley
VPC is blessed with a premier music program.
Our Chancel Choir sings a variety of worship pieces that on any given Sunday might include traditional favorites, classical pieces, or world music- depending on what the liturgy calls for. Our choir includes a dedicated core membership of professional singers and talented amateurs who commit to a weekly rehearsal schedule. While Thursday evenings are all about the highest standards in song, food and fellowship are also part of the evening.
In addition to the core group, many other singers join us for special events. The choir presents at least two major works each year.
While Chancel Choir is Valley’s most visible music ministry, our music program offers ensemble opportunities for all age groups and a variety of musical interests such as the Kids’ Choir and Adult Handbell Choir.
For more information about our choirs and how you can become involved, please contact our Minister of Music, Raf Ornes.
