Summer of Compassion
Whether it's Sunday worship, a movie night, a Habitat build, a podcast or a book, take time this summer to cultivate compassion.
Each week we will post a new podcast, video, or song for you to explore a new angle of compassion. So even if you're traveling to an exotic destination or camping out under the stars, you can feed your soul and stay connected to VPC!

Kate teaches at Duke Divinity School and is author of "Everything Happens (And Other Lies I've Loved)."

Kids and Youth
This summer VPC's kids will focus on "compassion" using the curriculum "An illustrated Compassion, learning to love like God." The three, 4-week modules consist of: Compassion in the Hebrew Scriptures; Compassion in the New Testament; Living a Compassionate Life. Each week teachers and students will go straight to class, joining the congregation at the end of Worship to share a little something from their time in class.
Middle and high school students have the option to go to class or stay in worship.
