Mary Jo Alderson
Mary Jo has been a member of Valley Presbyterian Church for the past 25 years and on the church staff for 20 years, Mary Jo serves the community as a spiritual director receiving her training from the Sister of Mercy. She also oversees VPC’s spiritual formation programs, including the all-inclusive Kaleidoscope of Hope transition.
Bruce is a highly respected Presbyterian pastor as well as a dynamic author, speaker, church consultant, teaching elder and Moderator of the 218th General Assembly of PCUSA, church consultant, blogger, husband, and father of three daughters. Bruce is a true leader that lives his faith passionately; he is committed “to expressing a Christian faith that is beautifully complex and excruciatingly gracious.” Learn more about him here.
Rev. Bruce Reyes-Chow
Carla has a Masters in Theology from Fuller Seminary. At VPC for the past 12 years, she has led bible studies, taught adult education classes, preached, and served as liturgist and elder. Carla is a woman who loves scripture and shares her passion generously through bible studies, preaching, and adult education.
