Simply beautiful weddings.
Due to COVID-19 we regret that we cannot
accommodate weddings for the balance of 2020.
We are taking tentative bookings for 2021 with the understanding that these plans may need to change depending on evolving conditions with the pandemic.
The commitment to sharing your life with the one you love most is profound, and we are honored that you are considering making your wedding vows at Valley Presbyterian Church. Once conditions are safe, we would love helping you create a joyful, elegant wedding day that you’ll look back on with delight all the days of your life.
Being a welcoming and inclusive church, we strive to follow the example Jesus showed people in His life. When weddings resume, we will continue to welcome all couples to marry in our sanctuary.
Wedding Dates and Times
Starting in 2021, all weddings are being held on Saturdays. This is due to the pandemic and is subject to change.
Saturday options are 10:00 am, 12:00 noon 2:30 pm or 5:00 pm. The Saturday 10:00 am ceremony is offered at a reduced fee. The time you book is the time your ceremony begins.
If you’d like to discuss your wedding timing, give us a call.
Currently we are tentatively scheduling through 2021.
If you choose Valley Presbyterian Church for your wedding ceremony, one of our ministers will be your officiant. If you have a friend or family member who is ordained, you may invite that person to assist in the service, making a special day even more meaningful.
Marriage Preparation Workshop
There’s wisdom in the saying, “A wedding is for a day; a marriage is for a lifetime”. In the midst of cake tastings and reception site visits and seating charts, it’s important to take a step back and reflect on the deeper gifts of a good marriage.
Pre-marital counseling is required for all couples marrying at Valley Presbyterian Church. This requirement may be fulfilled through participation in one of our marriage preparation workshops, which is included in the fee. If unable to attend one of our workshops, talk with our Wedding Coordinator about other ways the requirement for pre-marital counseling might be met.
We offer a one-day session: the morning focuses on the theology of a Christian marriage; the afternoon takes a decidedly practical turn as we focus on communication and intimacy. Workshops are offered on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Upcoming dates:
March 28, 2020 - cancelled due to COVID-19
May 30, 2020 - cancelled due to COVID-19
September 26, 2020 - cancelled due to COVID-19
